FEATURES: A wonderful, Australian, insect and bird-attracting shrub, commonly known as Sceptre Banksia, that tolerates extended dry periods and coastal conditions

SIZE: 5m H x 5m W

FOLIAGE: Ornate leaves are grey-green and become increasingly smooth and leathery as they age

FLOWER: Bright yellow conical flower heads in Spring and Summer

POSITION: Thrives in full sun, and any well drained soil, including coastal conditions

USES: Cut flower heads are valued by florists, while the plant is great for screening or as a windbreak

COMMENTS: Make sure you use a native fertiliser because this amazing plant is sensitive to phosphorus.
