Banksia prionotes dwarf – ‘Dwarf Acorn Banksia’

Price range: $18.99 through $22.99

An stand out dwarf banksia with long, leathery, toothed leaves that produces large orange cone flowers in autumn. It can grow to 1.5m tall and 1.5m wide.

It is a perfect small tree for small native gardens where you still want a tree to attract bird and insects but don’t have the space for anything taller than 2m.

It should be planted in well drained soils in a full sun position. Once established it is drought tolerant but it may need some water during extended hot, dry periods. Care should be taken when fertilising to only use products suitable for native plants as is very sensitive to phosphorous.
