Searles water storage crystals help plants survive dry weather conditions and infrequent watering. When added to potting mix, the crystals swell hundreds of times to form a water reservoir around the roots. This water is then released back to the plants over time. The crystals reduce water wastage, increase the time between watering and promote improved plant survival during dry times.
