A good universal pollinator for other Japanese plums that flower at the same time. Used for fresh fruit, jam, and stewing. Fruit is top quality, mildly sweet with some tartness near the stone and skin. The fruit ripens early-mid season from mid summer to early autumn. Young trees can take their time to come into bearing fruit. Plant in full sun.
