A new Australian selection of Melia that has been grafted to ensure a consistent and uniform habit. A hardy flowering tree chosen for its drought tolerance, soft foliage and showy flowers. Tolerates most soil types. Full sun to part shade. Sometimes referred to as a “Cape Lilac” or “White Cedar”.

Height: 8m

Width: 7m

Growth Rate: Moderate  to fast

Foliage: Pinnate foliage provides good summer shade before fading to yellow in autumn.

Flower: Showy clusters of of lilac flowers in spring are followed by ornamental yellow fruit.

Bark: Grey-brown bark forms textured furrows as it matures.
