Flesh: Firm, sweet

Royal Lee

Fruit Shape: Heart-shaped

Fruit Size: Medium to large

Skin: Bright red

Flesh: Sweet, rich, excellent cherry flavour

They require only 200-400 chill hours to fruit. This makes them suitable for Perth’s warmer climate and can be grown in many suburbs. However, these are still not recommended for growing in coastal locations where the temperature doesn’t drop below 7 degrees very often, fewer chill hours are recorded and there are strong prevailing winds that can affect pollination.
