Commonly known as ‘Butterfly Bush’ or Summer Lilac. A very hardy large shrub with masses of large mauve flower spikes of lightly perfumed flowers that attract birds and butterflies.

Position: Sun to part shade

Flower Colour: Mauve in spring – autumn

Uses:  As a screening plant, small hedge or speciment plant in cottage gardens.
