Brachychiton populneus x acerifolia – ‘Bella Donna’

A wonderful native tree with lovely pink bell shaped flowers during spring and summer. It make a lovely ornamental shade tree suited for larger park lands and gardens as it grows to 8m tall and 5m wide. It has glossy green leaves that are resistant to fire and the new growth comes in bright red. Once established this plant is drought and frost tolerant however it should be mulched during summer to suppress any weeds and to keep moisture near the roots.
