Alocasia hybrid – ‘Amazonica Bambino’

Price range: $9.99 through $16.99

An eye-catching indoor plant with deep green leaves with contrasting white veins. It is a small alocasia growing to just 40cm tall and 40cm wide and has very slender leaves when compared to other amazonica varieties.

It is an excellent, compact houseplant perfect for small spaces that need a plant to add some excitement. It can also be grown outdoors in warmer climates as a filler plant in shady, tropical themed gardens. 

It should be planted in premium potting mix that is well draining and grown in a position with bright, indirect light. It should be fertilised regularly through the warmer months of the year with a foliar fertiliser like Home Grown Tonic by Sabrina Hahn. In winter it may go dormant, if this happens it should be left is a safe, dry space until spring when it will start to produce new leaves again.
