Banksia menziesii

Price range: $18.99 through $28.99

FEATURES: A fantastic tall tree which has attractive, textured grey bark and a long flowering period

SIZE: 10m H X 8m W

FOLIAGE: Stiff, silvery green leaves

FLOWER: Orange to pink acorn-shaped flowers from summer to winter

POSITION: Plant in very well draining soils in full sun

USES: Excellent for attracting native birds and insects. Suitable for medium to large gardens as a habitat tree or sculptural specimen tree

COMMENTS: Sensitive to phosphorus so only use native fertiliser. Water well after planting, but drought tolerant once established.
