Schinus molle – Peppercorn Tree

Fast growing, evergreen tree with a rough, gnarled trunk and graceful, weeping branches clad in fern-like foliage. From late winter to spring, clusters of small, yellow flowers appear, followed by pea-sized, pink-red fruit, resembling peppercorns. Ideal shade tree for larger gardens, parks and farms. Thrives in an open, sunny position and will tolerate periods of dryness, wind and frost.
