Vinca major – ‘Periwinkle’

An attractive spreading plant with a hanging growth habit growing 45cm tall and 60cm wide. Large green foliage with lovely blue flowers from Spring through to Autumn. A versatile plant that can be used in the garden as a ground cover or in a pot where it can spill over the edges and create a beautiful display. It is a great plant to use as a natural weed suppresent as it is a tough plant able to outcompete out other species. It likes to be planted in well-drained soils and appreciates a part shade position.
