Coastal native plant that can be used as a flavoursome vegetable or herb. Leaves can be used as a garnish to flavour soups, while the stems can be enjoyed fresh or blanched. Harvest as you would parsley or celery – pick stems regularly from the main plant, or harvest the entire plant by pulling it out.
Grows to 30-50cm high and up to 1 m wide.ย Drought and frost tolerant, grow in full sun or dappled shade. Prefers well-drained soil, happily grows in a pot.
