FEATURES: A medium growing, herb orginally from southern Europe, used in cooking and attracts nectar loving birds, butterflies and insects to the garden

POSITION: Full sun. Well drained soil
USES: Can be added at any stage in the cooking. Young leaves are a little milder and can also be used in teas, jellies and various drinks. Will aid a sore throat when used as a gargle with some mint. Flavours well with other strong herbs like rosemary, garlic, parsley, thyme, game meats and strong vegetables
COMMENTS: Cut back old or dead foliage and apply Seasol regularly from spring to autumn.
