‘Packham’s Triumph’ and ‘Williams’ grafted onto the same tree. These two varieties cross-pollinate each other. ‘Packham’s Triumph’ ripens mid-season late February to early March. Williams ripens early season January to February.
Packham’s Triumph
Fruit size: Large
Flesh: Firm, very juicy, with a smooth texture, rich flavour
Skin: Pale lemon-yellow when ripe
Williams
Fruit size: Medium to large
Flesh: White, firm, juicy and tender
Skin: Pale green ripening to a clear attractive yellow and sometimes with a red blush
