Passiflora edulis – ‘Flamenco Red’

Price range: $22.99 through $29.99

An Australian bred variety that is extremely productive with delicious fruit. The fruit drops to the ground when ripe so checking under the vine regularly during cropping months is required.

Position: Full sun, protected from harsh winds.

Size & Habit: 2-5m, vigorous climbing vine

Flower: Large ornamental purple and white flower, spring to autumn

Fruit: Orange/yellow flesh, aromatic and fruity with an acidic tang

Skin: Purple/red, thick

Cropping: Summer to winter

Harvest/Maturity: Passionfruit plants fruit within a year but need replacement every 2-3 years

Pollination: Self-fertile
