Ludisia discolor/Macodes petola – ‘Jewel Orchid’

Price range: $16.99 through $89.99

Jewel Orchids are prized for their incredibly striking foliage, with veins that sparkle in the light, and make great indoor plants for terrariums and spots with indirect light and higher humidity.

Macodes petola has velvety dark green leaves with vibrant “lightning bolt” veins.

Ludisia discolor has very dark green/burgundy leaves with fine, glistening burgundy veins.

These are terrestrial orchids, so keep in a light indoor potting mix with good drainage, and do not allow to dry out.
