Nymphaea spp – ‘Tropical Water Lily Haarstick’

FEATURES: Night blooming variety, flower opens at dusk and closes around 10am

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 1.5m x 1.5m

FOLIAGE: Large, round, bronze with a serrated edge

FLOWER: Open, pink, spring to autumn

POSITION: Full sun to part shade

USES: Ponds, dams, natural pools, water bowls

COMMENTS: It will flower all throughout the warmer months but needs at least 6 hours of full sun per day to induce flowering. It should be planted in a large pot with some waterlily fertiliser and submerged at least 40cm below the water level. In winter it will lose all its leaves and persist as a rhizome but it will regrow in spring.
