Also known as cut-leaf mint, Native Mint is a highly aromatic shrub, rich in essential oils. Use in cooking and herbal teas. Native Thyme has a more complex flavour than Mentha mints, with hints of pepper and earthy tones. Aย flavoursome herb for chicken, fish, emu, roo and lamb dishes. Both the leaves and flowers have minty qualities, and may be steeped in hot water to make a herbal tea.
Grows to 1.5×1.5 m. Full sun to part shade. Plant in well draining soil, and keep watered through summer.
