Two popular Nashi varieties grafted onto the same tree. ‘Nijisseiki’ and ‘Shinseiki’ cross-pollinate each other. Fruit ripens from late summer to autumn with ‘Nijisseiki’ fruiting mid-season and ‘Shinseiki’ fruiting early season.

Nijisseiki

Fruit size: Medium

Flesh: Creamy-white, very juicy and crisp

Skin: Yellowish-green with obvious lenticels

Shinseiki

Fruit size: Medium-large

Flesh: Creamy white, crisp with a sweet, slightly tart flavour.

Skin: Yellow/green with obvious lenticels.
