Mentha spicata – Spearmint

A fragrant culinary herb that can be used for pesto, salads, sauces and tea.

It should be grown in part to full sun in moist soil. It is recommended to keep mint is a pot as they can send out long runners and outcompete other plants.  

Plant on the edges of water bodies so the roots are in the water but do not submerge the leaves.
