A lovely tall native tree able to grow up to 20m tall and 10m wide. It has white, papery sheets or bark and has tough, green leaves. From spring to autumn it produces creamy white flowers that attract birds and pollinating insects.
It is an excellent tree to use as a wind break, screening and shade tree for large parks, gardens and rural properties.
It can grow in a wide range of soils, including clay and sandy soils but must be in a full sun position.
