A beautiful bulb with a deceptive name. Unlike its squat, brown namesake, it has an upright habit with pretty, green foliage and gorgeous white flowers with purple and pink spots. It is a great specimen in pots and containers or planted in shady and protected garden beds. Plant into improved soil, make sure to water regularly during the summer months and removed spent flowers to encourage further blooms. It can be left undisturbed and will clump and spread through the garden.
