A lovely, large leaved plant that is perfect for shaded areas of the garden. It is an excellent specimen for underplanting as it has eye-catching, variegated leaves. It also grows well in pots and containers which allows it to be moved around the garden to keep them in the shade. It produces dainty, bell flowers that can be picked and displayed in the home. It should be planted into fertile, well draining soils. It can be left in the garden over winter while it is dormant.
