Helichrysum – ‘Red Jewel’

Price range: $19.99 through $24.99

A small shrub with attractive silvery leaves and stunning bright red flowers in Spring that are made even more gorgeous by the contrast with the foliage. It grows to 30cm tall and 40cm wide which means it has a range of uses in the garden and can be planted in a pot for both its floral and foliage displays. It is frost and drought tolerant and thrives in positions in full sun to part shade with well draining soils. To maintain its shape and bushy habit you should prune it back lightly and for optimal plant health apply a slow release fertiliser in Spring.
