Fittonia albivenis – ‘Nerve Plant’

A gorgeous plant for any houseplant collector. This small plant grows to 15cm tall and 30cm wide in the garden where it can be used as a groundcover in shady positions however will likely stay much smaller than that when grown indoors in a pot. The star feature of this plant is its lovely leaves with colourful veins radiating over the leaf surface. It doesn’t like to completely dry out, this will cause it to dramatically wilt however it will quickly come back once it is watered. It appreciates well draining soils and a position in part shade or a sunny position indoors and an occassional foliar feed.
