A very elegant, striking flower. They are best planted in clumps amongst other shrubs. Easy to grow and low maintenance, great cut flower. Plant from March onwards.

Can be left undisturbed in the ground for years, however if the summer is particularly wet, lift bulbs after foliage has died down.

Flowering Time: Spring

Position: Sun with some protection for the wind. A slightly alkaline to neutral soil is preferred.
