Small deciduous shrub growing to 1.5m high by 1m wide. Produces heavy bunches of small black berries in mid summer.  Berry can be made into jam, juice or sauce. Plant in morning sun in a sheltered position that has protection for hot winds. Prune in winter. Frost tolerant.
