Corymbia ficifolia – ‘Red Flowering Gum’

A iconic West Australian native, the Red Flowering Gum is a stunning small tree which can grow up to 10m tall and 8m wide. In summer it is covered in blooms that can be coloured red, orange or pink. The flowers are extremely popular with birds and bees to the point the tree can seem like it is humming when in full bloom due to the amount of bees in it.

It is a perfect shade tree for medium sized gardens or makes a wonderful addition to native garden as a habitat tree.

It should be grown in a full sun position in well drained soil.
