SEED SOWING: Seed can be sown most of the year in many parts of Australia, in temperate climates sow in spring or autumn. The seed has a hard coating โ place seed in a container and pour boiling water over then leave overnight to soak in the water. Viable seeds will swell and can be then planted, any seeds that have not swollen can be soaked again in boiling water. Sow seed in good quality seed raising mix and cover with 3cms of soil. Germination will be in 10 to 21 days, but some seed can take longer than this so donโt discard any slow to germinate seeds.
