A part of the Brassica family, they have dark green, open, cabbage-like leaves. They grow quickly and are easy care. 

Position: Sunny spot with well drained organic soil. 

Uses: Similar to spinach, can be lightly steamed or wilted in a pan with olive oil and garlic.
