Beautiful purple leaved small specimen tree, that provides year round interest. Young branches have a distinctive ‘zig-zag’ habit. Tolerates a variety of soil types but does best in moist, deep, well-drained fertile soil. Dislikes a wet position. Avoid excessively hot or windy positions. Plant in full sun to part shade.
