Catalpa bignonioides ‘nana’

Dwarf form of Catalpa that has a naturally compact and dense globe-like shape. Best in a sheltered position as leaves become tattered and branches may break in exposed windy sites. Grafted onto a standard. Best in full sun.

Height: 5m

Width: 4m

Growth Rate: Slow

Foliage: Large mid-green heart shaped leaves. Yellow autumn colour is produced in colder climates

Flower: Rarely formed

Tolerances: Tolerant to a variety of soils including dry sites and urban sites. Not suitable for exposed and windy sites.
