Camellia sasanqua – ‘Edna Butler’

An extremely popular and versatile plant, it can be pruned into a small tree, shrub, espaliered or used as a hedge. They have beautiful flowers and are an excellent addition to any garden. They need acidic soils so should only be added into the ground when you have prepared the soil for them with lots of organic matter. They should be kept moist during summer with regular applications of mulch to keep the roots cool. 

‘Edna Butler’ has lovely pale pink and white single flowers with lightly ruffled petals. It blooms from autumn through to winter. It can grow up to 3m tall and 3m wide with deep green, glossy foliage.
