Sometimes referred to as “Native Pennyroyal”, Bush Mint is a clumping perennial groundcover herb that falls somewhere between English mint and pennyroyal in flavour. It is native to Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
Use is salads, sauces, steeped as a tea, and as relief for cold and flu symptoms.
Grows best in shady, boggy conditions – be sure to water well through the summer if planted in sandier soils.
