FEATURES: Deciduous or semi-deciduous shrub producing delicious blue fruit during summer

SIZE: 2m H x 2m W

POSITION: Full sun in rich, free draining soil

FOLIAGE: Green leaves turn brilliant yellow, burnt orange and finally a deep red in autumn

FLOWER: Delicate pink or white flowers

FRUIT: Berries ripen from green, through pink to blue

CROPPING: Needs 18 to 21 days below 7C to set fruit. Spring to early summer for crops

MATURITY: Will generally fruit on two year old plant

POLLINATION: Can set some fruit alone, but results are dramatically improved with a companion plant

USES: Eat berries fresh, or use in pies muffins fruit salads and other desserts or freeze for later

COMMENTS: Protect from strong wind and feed with slow release fertiliser twice a year.
