Thornless form of blackberry.
Size: Vigorous growing plant. Best grown against a trellis for ease of care.
Fruit: Sweet when fully ripe, bit tart if picked early or still red.
Maturity: Late January to early February, may also crop in April. Produces fruit on last season’s canes which should be pruned outafter harvest.
Pollination: Self fertile
Position: Plant in well drained sunny position.
Uses: Fresh, in jams, pies, preserves and ice cream
