Banksia ashbyi dwarf
$14.99
A native shrub, endemic to northern Western Australia between Exmouth and Geraldton. The dwarf form is from the northern most part of the range growing to about 2m tall and 2m wide. In spring the plant produces large orange flowers that are attractive to birds and bees. Plant into well drained, improved soil in an open, full sun to part shade position. For best flowering full sun is highly recommended. It responds well to fertilisation but make sure that you only use a native fertiliser as they are extremely sensitive to phosphorous.
