Persea americana – ‘Pinkerton’

Pinkerton is an ‘A’ type avocado, which means it needs to be paired with an ‘B’ variety for fruit to be produced. It is a prolific fruiter with medium sized fruit, with nutty flavour and a smooth creamy texture. The fruit will mature from June to August. It is a semi dwarf tree and can be pruned to stay below 2m but if left unpruned will grow into a medium sized tree.

Plant in a sunny but protected position in very well-drained, enriched soil.
