Stunning pink form of this popular climber with extra long racemes of fragrant flowers.
Size: 6-10m as a climber.
Foliage: Green leaves emerge in spring, turn buttery yellow before falling in autumn.
Flowers: Extra long hanging racemes of fragrant mauve pink pea-like flowers are produced in early spring sometimes followed by hanging seed pods. Racemes can exceed 50cm in length.
Position: Plant in full sun.
Note: Young plants can take up to 4-5 years to produce flowers.
Comment: A vigorous deciduous climber that needs a large and strong support, it can be trained up as a standard on a pole support then allowed to canopy out giving a weeping tree effect.
