FEATURES: ‘Sensation’ is one of the largest spathiphyllums that can reach heights of up to 1m. Big brother to the many smaller leafed Peace Lily varieties, the Giant Peace Lily is that very rare type of statement plant – one with ridiculously easy care requirements. We love their huge, lush, emerald green leaves with grooves that catch the light, and the bonus of big, pure white calla lily shaped flowers too. We also love that these plants are such great communicators- drooping dramatically when they need a drink.

FOLIAGE: Broad, deep, glossy, green

FLOWER: Striking white spathe, blooms in spring

POSITION: Full shade

USES: Mass planting, landscaping in shaded area, indoor displays, gift for a chronic over-waterer, beginner plant parent friendly, pots and containers

COMMENTS: Fertilise with slow release fertiliser during the warmer months of the year. Water when the top of the soil has dried or when the plant begins to lightly droop. This plant is included in Nasa’s top plants to clean indoor air.
