Sometimes referred to as the tiger striped fig due to the unusual green stripes on it’s yellow skin. Small to medium sized fruit that has a pink coloured flesh.

Figs are a large deciduous shrub to small tree with large, leathery leaves. They are grown primarily for their delicious and unusual fruit which bear throughout a long fruiting season.

They grow well in a Mediterranean climate and are reasonably drought tolerant, but benefit from free draining, enriched soil and supplemental watering during hotter months.

Self-fertile.
