FEATURES: Compact habit, abundant flowers in spring and summer, roots filter sediments from water

FLOWER: Deep violet, spring to early summer

USES: Ponds, dams, natural pools, water bowls

COMMENTS: Grow them on the margins of the pond, the roots can be fully submerged but the foliage should not be underwater. It can be divided in late summer by digging it up and spliting the rhizomes.
