FEATURES:  Drought and frost resistant, this hardy native tree is valued more for its leaves than its fruit Native apricot which was not considered a food source

SIZE: 6m H x 5m W

FOLIAGE: Slender green leaves with a weeping habit

FLOWER: Fragrant, small cream-to-yellow flowers bloom from late winter to spring

POSITION:  Grows in heavy clay to sand, however for best results, plant into a loamy soil in a sunny location and water well through summer

USES: Leaves can be used fresh or dried for tea and traditionally as a bush medicine for a range of ailments. Can also be positioned to form a hedge or screening plant or shade tree

COMMENTS: Tree is slow growing and tolerates sandy soil and dry periods.
