Hall’s Giant is an old, hardy hazelnut variety.

Nut: Large round nut with good flavour
Cropping: Low yield
Maturity: Late February, mid to late season
Pollinators: Due to a unique pollination system Hazelnuts are unpredictable for recommendation of cultivars. Although both male and female flowers are borne on the same tree, they don’t always flower at the same time. Planting different varieties will assist with pollination.
Position: Best grown in a sheltered position protected from hot winds and with shade from hot afternoon sun.
