A popular Japanese blood plum that is used for fresh fruit, juice, jam, and stewing. It has an excellent, sweet flavour and ripens mid-season in late summer through early autumn. Plant in full sun

Fruit Size: Large

Fruit Shape: Rounded, heart-shaped

Flesh: Blood red, juicy and soft when ripe

Stone: Semi-freestone

Skin: Dark maroon with small khaki-green spots (lenticels)

Possible Pollinators: Flavour Supreme, Santa Rosa
