Spreading aquatic perennial with small yellow flowers.

SIZE: Stems up to 25cm long, low ground cover or mat forming on surface of water

FOLIAGE: Red stems and bright green fleshy foliage.

POSITION: Can be grown in boggy soil at the pond margins, shallow water or submersed where it will help with oxygenation. Full sun to part shade.

USES: Stem, leaves and flower buds are edible. Leaves can be eaten raw or cooked as a green. Use in sandwiches, salad or add to smoothies.
