Large tree suited to large gardens and acreages. Good for avenue plantings and as a larger shade tree. Best in full sun.

Height: 14m

Width: 10m

Growth Rate: Moderate to fast

Foliage: Large mid-green leaves with coarsely serrated lobes. Golden brown in autumn.

Flower: Insignificant. Produces spiky seed balls.

Bark: Mottled olive-brown and grey. Highly ornamental.

Tolerances: Most soil types, air pollution and will take heavy pruning.
