Eutrema japonicum – ‘Wasabi’

A highly sought after ingredient, Wasabi grows best in a shady, moist position growing wild on Japanese river beds and in damp forests. Most commonly used for its root and stem, though its foliage and flowers are both edible and great in salads.

Best suited to a cooler climate

Position: A shaded, moist position (commercially grown under shade cloth in cooler stable climates).

Soil: Requires rich loamy soil

Height: 40cm
