A fast growing herbaceous perennial, the Tree Dahlia grows large, showy, double white flowers on long bamboo-like stems up to 6m tall. This plant prefers a frost free climate and loves a sunny position. Stems can become quite brittle as they grow, so some staking may be required.

Flowers from autumn through winter. Prune back to a few inches above the ground after flowering is finshed in winter, and remove spent canes.

Plant into well-improved soil in a sunny position and feed regularly with a good quality fertiliser.
